Tantric massage
A full-body session with hot oil that uses breathing, rhythm and touch to awaken sexual energy and spread it through the whole body rather than concentrating and discharging it quickly. At Tantra Barcelona it lasts 60 to 180 minutes.

Tantric massage glossary in Barcelona
Fourteen terms we use on this site and in our sessions, each explained in a sentence. Lídia's definitions, not an encyclopaedia's.
Lingam massage
The part of the tantric massage devoted to the male genitals ("lingam" in Sanskrit), with hot oil and techniques of rhythm and pause to raise arousal without precipitating release. At Tantra Barcelona it is interactive: you receive and may also give.
Yoni massage
The female equivalent of the lingam massage ("yoni" in Sanskrit), with the same logic of breathing, hot oil and rhythm. Adapted at booking for women's individual sessions.
Release
In Tantra Barcelona's vocabulary, the final climax at the end of the lingam massage. Not included in Tantra Plus or Tantra Top; included in the Tantra Intensivo, the Sublime Ritual and couples sessions.
Retention
The ability to hold arousal without discharging it, channelling it with the breath. It is the working goal of the 60-minute sessions (Tantra Plus and Tantra Top).
Energy unblocking
The first part of every session: a whole-body hot-oil massage with long strokes that loosens back, glutes and thighs so energy can flow before the lingam massage.
Tantric chair
A curved, padded seat that lifts the pelvis and arches the back, allowing postures and body-to-body contact impossible on a flat table. Used at Tantra Barcelona since 2018 in the Top, Intensivo and Sublime Ritual.
Tatami / futon
The padded floor of Tantra Barcelona's second room, where the final part of sessions of 90 minutes or more unfolds body-to-body, free from the rigidity of the table.
Guidelines
A five-minute conversation before every session in which client and therapist agree limits, preferences and what will be explored. What is agreed is what happens.
Four-hands massage
A session performed by two therapists at once. At Tantra Barcelona it is offered to couples: Lídia together with another female or male therapist, so both partners receive simultaneously.
Tantric ritual
A long session (120 or 180 minutes in the Sublime Ritual) with no fixed sequence after the table and chair phase, letting whatever arises flow within the agreed guidelines.
Sexual healing
A 120-minute session of bodily and energetic guidance to clear blocks and strengthen sexuality. It does not replace medical or psychological care.
Hot oil
A sweet almond base with a proportion of sesame, warmed in a bain-marie to about 40 °C, never in a microwave. It lasts through long sessions without fully absorbing.
One client per slot
Tantra Barcelona's policy: the diary reserves the whole studio for one person or couple, so nobody meets anyone at the door, on the way out or in the shower.
